Nic Ciardini’s strike three minutes from time was enough to secure ‘Boro all three points against relegation threatened Maidenhead United.

Richard Peniket put ‘Boro in front on 16 minutes in a half dominted by the hosts, only to see Maidenhead level things up a minute before the break, Michael Pook drilling home from 20 yards.

‘Boro were again the dominant force in the second period, but it took until the 87th minuteĀ  for Nic Ciardini to create breathing space between the two teams, a result which see’s ‘Boro rise to 9th in the table, and now seven points off of the final play off position.
