The club are delighted to announce that work will re-commence on the PRE Stand tomorrow.
Contracts were agreed last week, and the project which will see the roof, side and back panels being installed is scheduled to take around a month.
‘Boro Chief Executive Steve Duly commented, “We are pleased to have finalised the agreements to complete this next phase of the stands development, we are a little behind schedule due to having to re-negotiate the contracts and are aware that we announced that we hoped the work would be complete for the first pre season friendly against Wycombe on July 14th, we are still working to this date, although as with projects of this nature there may well be some slippage, but I am sure that all of our supporters like us behind the scenes are just happy to see the work continue”.
Once the work is complete Duly believes it will open up new commercial revenues for the club, “Even in these tough economic climates I believe that for the right company, the naming right opportunity of the stand would be an interesting proposition, the installation of the back panels will also provide twelve exceptionally high profile positions for advertising boards and this extends our commercial inventory giving us a good chance to increase commercial revenues.”
