‘Boro have today announced that goalkeeper Jake Somerville has agreed terms to transfer to Ryman League Division 1 South side Godalming Town.

Somerville who has come through the youth ranks at Cherrywood Road, spent a successful period on loan with the Surrey side last term, alongside making 13 appearances for ‘Boro’s front side.

Somerville commented “I have really enjoyed my time with Farnborough and thank the club for giving me the opportunity to develop my game, I am only young and appreciate that my first team appearances at ‘Boro would be limited, and a move to Godalming will give me the chance to enjoy first team football on a regular basis, and I am very much looking forward to the challenge.”

‘Boro have Craig Bradshaw who ended the season in possession of the number one shirt on contract for the forthcoming season, and there are a number of goalkeepers invited to trial with the club when pre-season training commences on July 3rd, as the club look to bolster their options in that department.
