‘Boro are pleased to unveil their new home kit design for season 2012-13.

Zoo Sport continue as the clubs Official Kit Supplier and have produced a home kit with a classic feel about it.

The club are conscious that delivery of the away kit for last season was very late, and have opted to retain the same design for the coming campaign.

To avoid adding financial burden to the club, the away replica shirts this year will be the surplus of the Medion stock from last season with a sponsors patch added over the top, shirts will be available at a reduced cost to supporters.

Sponsors patches will be available to purchase to allow any supporters who bought an away replica last season to update the shirt to this years design.

The club continues its search for a new principal sponsor, following the expiry of the Medion deal last season.

Chief Executive Steve Duly commented “In what is challenging economic  times for many businesses we are wholly committed to finding a principal partner for the forthcoming season, we are in positive discussions with a couple of companies and our focus is on closing a deal which has mutual benefit ahead of the league campaign.

We are delighted that IJS Global have agreed to continue our association for another season, and hope that sends a positive message out to potential partners of the benefits of an association with Farnborough Football Club.

We hope that the supporters appreciate our decision to retain last seasons away kit, and the concept of patching over the sponsor, this will save the club a considerable amount with regards to kit supply, a saving that we can pass on to our supporters for this kit.

We have also been very sensible regarding the initial number of replica shirts ordered, there will be provision to order replica shirts online through Zoo, but there will be lead times on kits ordered this way and I recommend that supporters keen to get the new shirts do so once they are in stock.

I can confirm that the club will be playing in the Medion kit for the commencement of the pre season, but have the mechanisms in place to turn around the personalisation of the kit with a new sponsor very quickly once a deal is closed and we will revert to using the new kit as soon as is practicable”

The club is anticipating being able to announce on sale dates for the shirts (subject to sponsor) by the end of next week.
