‘Boro’s reserve team manager Dave Tidy has resigned from the role having being offered the role of goalkeeper coach at Ryman League Division One South side Chipstead.

The club have promoted his assistant manager Leigh Dynan (pictured) as his permanent replacement.

Dynan who lists Fisher Athletic, Carshalton Athletic and Walton Casuals as a number of his previous clubs had to retire from competitive football following two anterior cruciate ligament ruptures.

After spending season 2010-11 as Assistant Manager at Cobham, he stepped up into the Managers role for season 2011-12, before taking the opportunity to assist Tidy  at Cherrywood Road.

James Deeks will continue his role as reserve team coach.

The club would like to put on record its thanks to “Tides” for his endeavours in his short spell at the club, and wich him all the very best in his new role.
