‘Boro Youth will take on Alton Town in the 2nd Round Qualifying of the FA Youth Cup after the Hampshire side disposed of Ardley United 6-4 after extra time.

The match will take place on Wednesday 10th October at Cherrywood Road, kick off at 7.45pm.

Youth team manager Steve Pearman took in the game and commented “Alton Town will be a tough test for us and a team different to what we have faced this season, they have good physical stature around the team, and look to be at the top end of the age limit against a young ‘Boro squad, it should be a good game, and I am sure the boys would appreciate a good home support behind them,”

Admission for this match will be £3 – Adults, £1- Concessions & Under 16’s

The draw for the 3rd Round Qualifying has already taken place, and should ‘Boro see of Alton Town, the reward is a home tie against the winners of the Maidstone United/VCD Athletic match, scheduled to take place in the week commencing Monday 15th October.
