The early draws for The FA Cup, Trophy, Vase and Youth Cup will be revealed on 6 July.

After double success for Chelsea in The FA Cup with Budweiser and The FA Youth Cup, for York City in The FA Carlsberg Trophy and Dunston UTS in The FA Carlsberg Vase, clubs up and down the country are gearing up for their next tilt at silverware.

The FA Cup kicks off again over the weekend of 11 August for the Extra Preliminary Round, and while the teams entering the competition at that stage are unlikely to reach The Final at Wembley next May, just being involved in the world’s oldest domestic cup competition still brings a great deal of excitement.

And as the anticipation builds to the start of The Cup, and also other FA Competitions such as The Trophy, Vase and Youth Cup, managers and players are looking forward to finding out who they’ll meet first.

And the waiting is nearly over. On Friday 6 July, at midday, the FA will be releasing the early round draws for all four of those competitions, as well as details of the clubs who have had their entries accepted and who have been exempt to later rounds.

‘Boro will enter The FA Cup in the Second Qualifying Round, matches to be played on Saturday 22nd September and take their bow in the FA Trophy in the 3rd Qualifying Round on November 10th.

‘Boro’s Youth side will find out who they take on next Friday.

Log onto www.thefa.com on Friday to view the draws.
