‘Boro have today announced that Aldershot Town striker Reece Connolly has joined the club on a temporary transfer, initially until October 7th.
Connolly enjoyed a successful spell on a similar arrangement at the Rushmoor Stadium last season, scoring 16 goals in 34 appearances, seeing him end up the clubs leading goal scorer for the campaign.
‘Boro boss Spencer Day commented “ I am delighted to have secured the services of Reece for an initial month, although I have made no secret that I would like to extend this arrangement if possible.
Reece was excellent for us last season, and the signing is a real shot in the arm ahead of a tough segment of our fixture calendar.”
Connolly will go straight into the squad for tomorrow afternoons trip to Boreham Wood in the Blue Square South.
Defender Scott Day has signed Blue Square South forms today following a string of impressive performances for the Reserve team, and is also available for selection for tomorrows match.
Going the other way, the club have also confirmed today that Polish striker Jacek Magdzinski has cancelled his contract with the club and is set to sign for fellow Blue Square South side Billericay Town.
