Although widely reported that Adam Bygrave is remaining at the club, today the formalities were completed where he put pen to paper on a one year contract.

Bygrave joined ‘Boro from Hayes & Yeading at the start of the 2011/12┬áseason and was a key figure in the team throughout the difficult campaign.

Commenting soon after signing Bygrave said “I am really pleased to have re-signed for the club and looking forward to working with Spencer & Koo again next season.” He added “It was a tough season and we will look to give the supporters who were fantastic throughout the whole year a season to remember, we owe them one.”

In conjunction with his playing duties, Bygrave has also agreed to assist Koo Dumbuya on a part time basis in the coaching of the club’s academy squad, and is very much looking forward to the challenge ” The chance to work with the potential future first team players of the future is a great honour, we had a young squad last year and I enjoyed working with the players such as Callum Cobb and watching them progress, this gives me a great opportunity to provide a link between the first team and our academy players.”
