‘BORO came home from Bromley with three deserved points following a 3-1 victory.

Josh Huggins set us on our way with a 12th minute opener and we never looked back as Nic Ciardini found the net on the half-hour and that is how the scoreline stayed going into the interval.

The third goal duly arrived on the hour when Dave Tarpey got his name on the scoresheet.

The home side pulled a goal back within five minutes, but the points were ours thanks to a spirited display.

“We asked for a reaction from the lads and we got it,” said manager, Spencer Day. “I thought that we were excellent in the first half and then dominated the opening 20 minutes of the second period.

“It was an excellent performance, certainly our best away from home this season.

“We knew it would be difficult coming here but, as I say, we were outstanding and deserved to bring home the three points.

“There’s a difficult period coming up, but, it’s a cliche I know, we have to take each game as it comes and see where it takes us.”
