The Boro will be looking to put the brakes on their side down the Blue Square South Table when they host Chelmsford City this coming weekend.

A similar result to the same fixture last season would be more than welcome after what has been an October to forget.  Chelmsford were on a 12 match unbeaten run when they visited last season and after Anthony Cook’s strike gave them a half time lead, it looked like that run would be extended.  Farnborough came out much the better side in the second half though.  Goals from Kezie Ibe, Jack King and an Adam Tann own goal swung the three points the way of the Yellows.

Coincidently, Chelmsford once again find themselves on a 12 match unbeaten run and are undefeated all season on the road.  Their last defeat was at home to Dover Athletic back at the start of September.  They continued their fine run of results with a win over Gloucester City last night in the FA Cup which has earn’t them a very winnable 1st Round tie at home to AFC Telford.

Farnborough, looking for their first league points in five matches could give a start in goal to new signing Nicodin Matic.  The match kicks off at 3pm, the turnstiles and bar will be open from noon.
