Farnborough Football Club has today parted company with first team manager Garry Haylock and assistant Gareth Hall.
The duo were appointed by the club at the start of this season , however after a promising start to the league campaign the team have struggled over the last few month having taken just 1 point from the last 9 league games.
The club would like to thank Garry and Gareth for their endeavours at Farnborough and wish them every success in the future.
The club are pleased to announce the appointment of Spencer Day as first team manager with immediate effect.
A club spokesman commented: “We have watched with interest as Spencer has done a fantastic job at Chertsey Town over the past 4 seasons, playing attractive football and developing local young players, which very much mirrors Farnborough’s aspirations.”
Spencer’s first game in charge will be at Salisbury City this coming Saturday.
